1. Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. Appreciation Night

    Watching the video above made me miss my early years with CBSi — 2009 and 2010 specifically. I attended a lot of events during that time and of course, all the experiences I had were totally worthwhile. I actually wish I could bring back those moments with my friends but since that’s quite impossible (for now?), moving forward, I’m just hoping I could do more fun stuff with them and the new ones (since my time). :)

    Anyway, we celebrated CBSi’s 5th anniversary through the Appreciation Night last February 15 at Harolds Hotel. The aim for that night was to recognize members and partners who have made significant contributions to the organization, and they were given the Orange Infinity award.

    Made me wanna have one for myself! I knew there wasn’t one reserved for me, but I did get an award, though — a Loyalty Award! I actually joined the group in early 2009, so I guess that still counts. :))

    More friends won some bonggang-bonggang awards for their roles in the organization — Mark Monta (founder of CBSi), Sir Ruben Licera (current president), and many more! Haha I’m afraid I could leave out some people so I’ll just leave it that way. :)

    Some items were also raffled off, including USB Hubs from Sun Cellular, a BlackBerry 9220, and a gift certificate for an overnight stay at Harolds Hotel. And guess what I won?!?! Yes, just a USB Hub. Wahaha. Not complainin’! Oh, I also got two tumblers and a shirt. As I said, not complainin’. :D

    To the Cebu Bloggers Society, thank you for staying strong even when conflicts and issues arose in the group. Because if it wasn’t for that strength, the group would’ve been long broken, and all the good things after that wouldn’t have happened. So congratulations for the 5 strong years, and cheers to more! :D
