Silver Jewelry
When I was young, I used to wear some silver bracelets. Then I realized I’m allergic to it. Or so I think. My skin would develop rashes and it’s hard not to scratch it since it’s very itchy. I didn’t like it. So I never wore silver jewelries again.
With necklaces, I don’t think I have a problem, though. But earrings, nahh. My ears would become itchy, too, unless it’s gold or I dunno. Plastic, silver, and maybe all others would cause allergies. Too bad. I would’ve wanted to try some sterling silver jewelry. I don’t know if they would look good on me, but they look good on their own. Maybe they can make people look better? Haha.
If you’re reading this, though, don’t hesitate to buy me a set! I would appreciate it and I’ll wear it even if it means all-day scratching! Who knows, I might get immune to it one day.
Globe Run4Home
The night before Globe Run4Home, I was kinda confident that I’d be able to wake up early and have enough time to prepare for the run. Hell, I was wrong! When I woke up and saw that it was already 5:30am (call time for our category), I was starting to panic and I literally bolted straight up from my bed!
Without hesitation, I decided to just wash my face and changed into my running suit without taking a bath. Yeah, call me disgusting but I guess it’s okay to just take a bath after the event, thinking I took a bath in the afternoon the previous day and I’d be sweating a lot during the run anyway. Haha, excuses.
Anyway, I arrived at the venue shortly after 6am — gun start for 5K category. But I couldn’t start running yet since my singlet and race bib were still with Mumu, who was also late, by the way, because of his faulty human alarm clock (that would be me, haha).
When he arrived and we changed into our costume (!), it was already the gun start for 3K category, so we just joined them together with Angel who waited for us.
Three 5K runners in a swarm of 3K runners. We wouldn’t have been easy to spot if it weren’t for our red race bib — obviously different from 3K’s blue race bib. We continued running-walking-running anyway.
We saw some of our GK friends (also running in the 5K category) already on their way to the finish line and the three of us weren’t even halfway yet! When we met the last batch of our GK friends around 2km after the start line, the three of us just turned around and joined them. Haha! We made our own category (4K), and it was still a long run. We weren’t after the winning anyway. Bwahahaha! It would’ve added to the fun if we saw someone running with double strollers.

My Valentine
I remember laughing in my head when I found a bouquet of roses for me at the front desk of our office on the day of the hearts. Mumu sent me flowers! I was really touched for it was my first flower from him.
Isn’t that sweet?
I’d been craving for some Italian food for the past days, so we celebrated Valentine’s Day with pizza and pasta at Handuraw. While waiting for the food, I handed him my gift.
I found it really cute, cuddly, and useful (?) to someone who sleeps a lot (haha!) so I bought it, and since I didn’t like the name the store gave it (who names a pig Carla? it’s like a pig in debt), I let Mumu name it, and he named it Pippi.
