Mandaue Run for Life 2010
The Mandaue Run for Life 2010 is initiated by the Mandaue Business Movement (MBM), which was formerly known as Mandaue Business Month. 
The marathon signals the start of MBM events for the whole month of August. Proceeds of the marathon will be allocated for the benefit of MCCI’s medical mission and the Dasig Kabataan Foundation. For more information about the run, please see the poster.

Cellphone Evolution
I don’t know what has gotten into me, but when I was in the church this afternoon, I suddenly wanted to blog about the cellphones that I had. 
Yes, I’m weird like that. 
And I always try to satisfy what I want, so here I am, blogging about this weirdness.

This model/unit was my very first cellphone! 
My mother actually first owned it. I was in grade 5 (year 2000), I think, when she bought this phone and I got all hyped up! 
Gee, was I a techie already at that time? 
Oh yes, I remember we were acquainted with the computer at a very young age. 
Anyway, my mom gave it to me when I was in grade 6 (again, I’m not sure). I lost interest in having a phone some time later, so I was cellphone-less for a few months in my high school life. If I remember right, that is. We gave this unit to my cousin.

IMAX at SM City Cebu
On July 9, 2010, the IMAX theater at SM City Cebu will officially open! 
It’s the third IMAX theater here in the Philippines and the first one outside Metro Manila. 
The first IMAX theater is in SM Mall of Asia and the second one in SM City North Edsa. Though the screen will be smaller compared to the one in MOA, it will feature clearer picture quality due to its use of a digital projector rather than a film projector.
Being described as the ultimate movie experience, people will be expecting much from it. 
I actually don’t get the whole concept just yet as I haven’t even been in a digital theater (3D) (yeah, lame), but I think I’ve got a pretty good idea already. I had Jessa explain it to me since she has already tried IMAX at MOA. 
It’s going to be more expensive (around P250-P400), but I hope it will be worth it once I try it. When? During the Avatar screening? The Harry Potter movie? I still don’t know. My wallet is the decision maker.
