I’ve been a blogger for two years already, but I think it would be my first time to attend a blog camp this coming May 22, 2010.

Cebu Blog Camp is an event that focuses on honing the skills of bloggers offline. This event will gather a large number of bloggers all over Cebu to discuss the latest developments on the web, search engines, and making money online.

Cebu Blog Camp also aims to help those just beginning in their blog journey by giving them the basics of blogging. The Blog Camp will comprise of prominent speakers of the different fields of blogging.

Through this event, one can gain a learning experience on the different opportunities online. Apart from the discussions, one may be able to form a concrete network offline as one can finally meet the other bloggers of the community in Cebu.

Parkmall is partnering with Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc., the pioneering and most active blogging community in the country, in offering all Cebu-based bloggers with a monthly blogging contest under specific themes.

To be able to join the contest, you must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. The blogger should be based here in Cebu.
2. He or she must compose a creative entry or blog post about the monthly theme produced by Parkmall.
3. The monthly theme will be announced every during month end, last week of the month in the Cebu Bloggers Society site, www.cebubloggers.com, and Parkmall‘s website, parkmallph.com.
4. The composition must not be less than 250 words, and 300 words as maximum.
5. Each monthly post must contain the anchor text “Parkmall, number one Mall in Cebu” which is linked to “parkmallph.com”.
6. He or she must notify and send his/her entry to pr@parkmall.ph for initial screening.
7. After the initial screening, a panel of judges will determine the top 10 for the online voting.
8. Winners will be announced every month end, last week of the month and will be posted in the Cebu Bloggers Society site, www.cebubloggers.com, and Parkmall‘s website, parkmallph.com.
9. Winners will be determined by below Criteria for Judging.
10. A panel of judges will help to check and decide for the winners.
11. Judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.
