Not all of us are blessed with a home. Maybe some of us have a place to stay but don’t really feel comfortable living there, like in the streets. There are also those who live in a shabby place and would want to transfer to a better apartment or the like but don’t have enough income to make it come true. For that matter, there are HUD apartments for rent everywhere.

Talking about this makes me think about the time when we stayed in a hotel for 4 nights. It was during our IE Educational Tour. We couldn’t help but appreciate the place because it was simple yet elegant. It’s far from the new hotel Dubai, though, which is perfect for honeymoon, I think. Hahaha. You could make your future baby there, perhaps? Pretty weird statement, but what I meant is predicting the face of your baby in the future. There’s a tool for that, actually. Hahaha.

I’m already in my 5th year in college (you might not know that I’m taking up a 5-year course, which is Industrial Engineering), and as a requirement before we graduate, we have to do a thesis. Currently, we’re still in a hunt for topics/problems that we’re gonna spend a year praying over.

Thesis writing is not easy. Oh, it might be for those who have undergone it already. It’s how I’ve felt with our feasibility study. Before we even started it, I knew it was going to be hard — and it was! There were times when I really didn’t want to work on it because of the loads of tasks involved with it. As Robert Frost said (and I quote), “The best way out is always through.” Now that we’re out of it, looking back, I think it’s already a not-easy-but-not-so-hard work.
