CBSi Turns 3
Three years ago and back, I was the kind who had a routinary life — home-school-home or home-church-home. Even on weekends. I spent most of my time doing this and that.. at home. It wasn’t a bad thing, though. After all, it’s at home where I learned a lot of amazing things. When I became a blogger in 2008, I came across (and joined) this particular community online. I thought it was just one of those Yahoo! groups that flooded my inbox with blah messages. Well, actually I didn’t care much about it at that time. When I became an official member a half year later (2 months after their 1st anniversary), I didn’t know what was in it for me. Then it turned out that it’s this group that posted a big detour sign right where I was supposedly headed. My life took an unexpected turn. 
For two years, I’ve met and friended a whole lot of people with varied personalities. For two years, I’ve overcome my shy side and conquered the world. For two years, I’ve widened my horizons, grasping the opportunities flying right before my very eyes. And it’s all because of the Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc. I may not be able to say what I need, want, and am supposed to say now (‘coz I’m sleepy? It’s 2:15am), but I just want to shout it out to the whole world that CBSi is not just a bunch of keyboard-hitting, mouse-catching (LOL?), monitor-staring, head-scratching, and money-making (hahaha simang) individuals. They’re the lot who’re ready to talk to you, listen to you, blog for you, laugh with you, cry with you, and just be there for you — and have coffee with you. 
Today is not only Valentine’s Day (and my brother’s birthday). It’s CBSi’s 3rd anniversary! To all the members, let’s celebrate! Spread the love! Then let’s see each other this coming February 19, 2011, 3-6pm at PAGCOR, Casino Filipino Parkmall Satellite Branch. Thank you very much to Holister, Inc. and the branch manager, Mr. Renato Z. Osmeña, Jr., for providing! 
I can’t wait to see familiar faces again and meet new faces as well! I do hope this coming Saturday will take my anxieties away. Hahaha. FYI, we’ll have our thesis oral defense the week after that. Aja!

That’s cool that you’ve found a group where you can get out and make friends.
My friends are always dragging me places, so I’m out every weekend.
