Don’t Run – Face It!
My Christmas post last year, I admit, is quite dramatic.
And I understand what I’ve gone through during those times. It’s a natural self-understanding, right?
I still have some “drama” this year (the definition is up to you), but I’ll spare that for my New Year post. Heee~
If last year I watched The Polar Express for Christmas, this year, I did Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. I probably chose this one ‘coz we sang Pay Attention (a soundtrack) just recently — during the Emerging Pinoy Leaders Congress.
And it’s the first that caught my eyes when I scanned our lineup of CDs. Anyway, it’s not really a Christmas movie, but at least the soundtrack is Christian. And yes, a movie with lessons completes my Christmas.
“If every time something scary comes up, you decide to run, you’re all gonna be running for the rest of your lives.” -Sister Mary Clarence
I’ve encountered a lot of similar quotes, and I guess this just serves as a reminder for me to never run from my problems and the like. I’ve had my dose of headaches from having to deal with life’s catches.
I’m thankful, though, that it’s generally not in my nature to hide and bottle up my emotions. Sometimes, for me, acknowledging the existence of a problem is a step in solving it. It almost always prompts me to think of a way to get through it as soon as possible. I guess that’s how I managed to be forget-the-bad-side happy for the months that passed.
No one will manufacture a lock without a key. Similarly, God won’t give problems without solutions.
It’s just a short message, really, but it’s basically what I wanted to say. Hope you could read my Christmas post last year, too! It’s just similar to this post. Hehe. Merry Christmas everyone! May God bless you forever and always!

Backreading make you feel kind of nostalgic, eh? Wait, no, actually that’s not the right word. Lol. Anyway, I agree with the quotes you posted, especially that second one. ^_^ I hope you won’t break down easily just because of whatever challenge that you’re facing ^^ Have a wonderful Christmas!
