IMAX at SM City Cebu
On July 9, 2010, the IMAX theater at SM City Cebu will officially open! 
It’s the third IMAX theater here in the Philippines and the first one outside Metro Manila. 
The first IMAX theater is in SM Mall of Asia and the second one in SM City North Edsa. Though the screen will be smaller compared to the one in MOA, it will feature clearer picture quality due to its use of a digital projector rather than a film projector. 
Being described as the ultimate movie experience, people will be expecting much from it. 
I actually don’t get the whole concept just yet as I haven’t even been in a digital theater (3D) (yeah, lame), but I think I’ve got a pretty good idea already. 
I had Jessa explain it to me since she has already tried IMAX at MOA. 
It’s going to be more expensive (around P250-P400), but I hope it will be worth it once I try it. When? During the Avatar screening? The Harry Potter movie? I still don’t know. My wallet is the decision maker.

To be honest, the first 3D movie I saw was Shrek 3 and it was only this year. 3D is totally awesome!

Hay nako bes. You gotta try watching in 3D because maganda talaga ang quality in my opinion. Worth the money. IMAX MOA has Eclipse nga eh. SM Cebu is really up to date ha? Always!

I’ve tried 3D and it’s really sugoi. Demo, haven’t tried 3D in SM yet. I’m having hesitations about watching Avatar in IMAX 3D since I’ll be watching The Last Airbender in 3D too (not IMAX though).
I’ve watched Avatar in the theater before; I don’t get why I should watch it again. Haha but I really want to try IMAX. @_@ Takai.
