International Industrial Engineering Research Conference 2010
As one of the activities lined up for the silver anniversary celebration of the Industrial Engineering program in the University of San Carlos, this 2010 conference initiates a regular gathering of experts and practitioners in the field where research developments and best practices are exchanged in support to the rising importance of industrial engineering principles and the profession itself. This can also be a venue for possible collaboration with institutions, industries and other organizations from across the globe.
Gatherings as this are deemed essential in strengthening industrial engineering core competencies in preparation of our big leap to a better and globally recognized institution in the next years.
CALL FOR PAPERS
The conference theme “Preparing for the Big Leap” is very timely as economy starts to turn around. We are then calling for papers anchored at the following industrial engineering topics (but not limited to) that may be beneficial for organizations as they embrace new opportunities and challenges with the dawning of economic recovery:
