Take the Challenge

Quick post. =D

I mentioned before that my Ergonomics teacher invited me to apply for summer OJT in Timex. :clock: I thought of getting some insights from my friend who had her OJT there summer this year. Just this afternoon, I/we got the chance to converse with her. :yes2: She talked about how she started and ended her internship there, and some of her experiences in between.

Listening to her, I was kind of swayed. Hahaha. Not really discouraged, no. ;p I just couldn’t imagine myself (yet) being away from civilization 5 times a week, 9.5 (or 9.6) hours a day, without being able to use my cellphone and the internet, for 2 months (or more). How about my life? Wahahaha. Kidding. :sweatdrop: I believe it’s the normal IE OJT (even in other companies where IE is heavy). There are just some minor differences. :happy3: Anyway, she admitted that though her tasks there were not that easy, she really learned a lot. A LOT.  It wasn’t a discouraging talk after all. Hahahaha. She even encouraged me to apply for OJT there if I really wanted to have one that’s IE-ful. You get what I mean. ;p

I’m not even sure yet if I’ll pass the test. Hahaha. :sweatdrop: But I think I will apply there (and some other firms, maybe). If ever I’ll be fortunate enough to pass everything, I will take the challenge. I hope I can do it. :strong:

Why am I talking about this, anyway? It’s still about 5 months from now. :shocked2: I still have our Feasibility Study to focus on. Major nosebleed this semester. :epistaxis:

All I Want For Christmas

…is:

  • you
  • my two front teeth
  • this

What’s the right answer? Wuhahaha. ;p Just playing with some songs (except for the last choice). I don’t know how to title this entry. :sweatdrop: Anyway, for this post, I’d say the right answer would be the third choice. This. Aw, actually, these. :yes2: And they may not wait until Christmas (I may want other things for Christmas). :xmas: Something’s gonna happen before this month ends. So I could have these for that event. Hahaha. =D

Quarterly Self Checkup

I was supposed to post this at the end of September but I totally forgot. :sweatdrop: I was randomly opening my file folders in my laptop out of boredom, and I found this photo. Please click to enlarge. :camera:

Those are captures of the quarterly self checkup pages in my journal/diary. :notepad: And if you might’ve noticed, I was doing okay with my Chart A (the positive chart) during the three quarters that passed. :) But with my Chart B (the negative chart), there’s a significant change during the third quarter. It got worse. And that’s an honest assessment I made myself. :shocked2:
