The Traveling Mixtape
In case you don’t know what or who that mixtape is, it’s me. Hahaha.
If you’re observant enough, you would know that the tag line for iFancy.Me is The A-side of a Mixtape. Mixed tape, mix tape, mixtape… whatever. I prefer to spell it as mixtape. And why call myself a mixtape? You figure it out.
Anyway, today, I spent my day going from one place to another. And that’s from morning till night. Stressful.
01: Home to School (USC-TC)
I woke up at around 6am and prepared for school. No, I don’t have a class. I just needed to have some documents signed by the Student Activities Officer and the Head of Security and Safety.
Since I wasn’t able to eat breakfast at home (not a surprise as I always do everything before school in a hurry), I just ate one piece of meat roll at the canteen while waiting for Ms. Aneth (SAO).
It turned out that she wasn’t going to arrive since she’s at the main campus.
But good thing Sir Alingasa (Student Discipline Officer) signed the documents for her.
Before Sir Buma-at (HSS) signed the documents, he asked me to photocopy them. So I had to run to the library (3rd floor of the Engineering building) to do it. Then I went back to his office.
Thankfully, everything was okay already. I was really desperate to have those documents signed because it was going to be used for our meeting at night. Long story how I ended up cramming.
02: USC-TC to JY Square Mall
I was already running late for my meet up with Shalee and Pamela. We were going to Mountain View Nature Park in Busay, and we decided to go there together from JY. Good thing it wasn’t a long ride.
03: JY Square Mall to Mountain View Nature Park
Pamela was driving, and Shalee and I were just sitting in comfort. Thank God for aircons!
Our ocular visit was accompanied by cam whoring sessions (of course).
The purpose of our visit was actually to know the rates of their cottages and facilities for our IE Council Leadership Training Seminar, which is gonna happen on September 19. And the purpose was served.

Do we look alike?
04: Mountain View Nature Park to APL Trading
It was a very hot morning, but we endured it.
Pamela drove us back to the city. We stopped over at their store. Yun lang. Dropped. Hehehe. We parted ways after.
05: APL Trading to SM
I went to SM alone.
The first thing I did was go to National Book Store to claim my OC Sampler Pack. I was actually expecting to receive a bag of post-its and some other stuff for organizing. But all I got was a pack of post-its. Hahaha. So much for freebies.
Then I went to look for the Twilight Journals (I plurked last week that I wanted to have the pack for my birthday or Christmas). But I didn’t buy it yet. I went to Power Books to compare the prices. And mehn, there was a big difference!
So I went back to NBS. And I bought the journals (and a new pen)!
Waaahhh! I just can’t stop myself from satisfying my mini-addiction! The moment I heard from Aimee that it’s already available, I was like, “I’m so buying it!”
I ate my lunch at KFC after that.
I stayed there for a kind of long time because I opened the pack and allowed myself to be mesmerized by the four journals. Hahahaha, shallow.
Then I met four CBS friends by chance and communication — Kai, Clado, Sinjin, and X.
We were staying at McDonald’s before we left for our next destination (except X).
06: SM to McDonald’s, Jones
We went there by taxi, c/o Sinjin. Weee!
When we got there, I decided to buy a Coke Float to quench my thirst (it was originally hunger, I think).
Some time later, other CBS friends came. Everyone there was a member of the CBS Board of Trustees (for the signing of some documents), except for Kai and me. Wahahaha.
I was just there to deliver the tickets for the stage play they were going to watch later. I was supposed to be one of those who will watch the play, but I had to cancel because of another important appointment.
07: McDonald’s to Ayala
The group went to CAP Theater for the play, and Bryan, Kai, and I (those not watching) waited for rides — Kai going home and Bryan and I going to Ayala. Ayala is not really my destination. I was to have two rides for school. So Bryan and I parted there.
08: Ayala to USC-TC
Back to school! Waaahhh.
I was there for the JPIIE (Junior Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers; an interschool organization) meeting. Agenda: the upcoming student convention, signing for ratification of Constitution and By-Laws, and election of new officers.
Tasks for the convention were delegated, and other concerns were tackled. Then elections followed. No one was put to a particular position yet. It was decided that the top 5 will automatically be members of the Executive Committee (the rest are for the Management Committee) and will be the ones to choose among themselves who will win the position by another formal election.
I’m one of the top 5. But it’s as if I had no choice anyway since a representative from each school had to be chosen, and there were only two of us from USC-TC who were eligible. Toink.
Oh by the way, wanna know how I introduced myself to the other officers? Here:
Hi, I’m [complete name], but you can call me Mikyu. I’m a 4th year [Industrial Engineering] student, president of the Industrial Engineering Council. Just a quick info, something I wanna share: I’m an active member of the Cebu Bloggers Society.
Wahahaha! I just can’t resist mentioning the last part.
After almost 3 hours, the meeting was adjourned.
09: USC-TC to Home
The trip wasn’t really a long one since the traffic was not heavy. And I was thankful for that.
I didn’t really feel the exhaustion while traveling. Only when I reached home did I realize that I’m really tired.
But sad to say, I don’t want to resist temptation.
I had to go online and do my routine. And I just had to blog this! Hahaha.
So that’s how my day went. It’s past midnight as I’m writing this sentence.
I’ve been awake for more than 18 hours already. Might as well hit the bed before I literally hit the laptop with my head. Oyasumi~

Oooh a Twilight Journal. I’ll check the bookstores here if it’s available. I might use it as a sketchpad since my moleskine is somewhat full. Btw, bloghopping from Xerendipity.
