Cebu Heritage Tour with CBS
The Cebu Heritage Tour initiated by the Cebu Bloggers Society was not just an ordinary two-non-consecutive-day getaway. It was a trip full of purpose — to promote Cebu, to encourage preservation of the environment, and of course, to establish camaraderie among the members of the group (though this is just a bonus).
A lot of things happened during those two days, and I know words are not enough to concretize them all. Or am I just too lazy to narrate it? Hahaha.
Anyway, this post contains a lot of photos.
Let them speak for themselves. But captions are always there to help. Hihihi.
Day 1: August 21, 2009, Friday
Surprise birthday cake for Bryan
Vanjohnn delivered his line at the Fuente Circle
Before the day ended, as part of Bryan’s birthday celebration, Atty. Ethelbert gave us all an ice cream treat!
Then we retreated to the comfort of our homes.
Day 2: August 31, 2009, Monday
I delivered my line at the Cebu Heritage Monument in Pari-an

Lunch at Parrt Ebelle

I and Bryan created these paper boat & paper cranes during the waiting time.
This is just one of the many jump shots that we had at the park!
We went back to SM to have our dinner at the Foodcourt.
After that, we all went home feeling satisfied.

At the end of the activity, we couldn’t help but clap for ourselves and invisibly pat the back of one another for a job well done!
We believe that the purpose was served and that it was done with pleasure and enthusiasm. Whatever the output may be (and I think it will be a good one), I’m pretty sure it’s going to be something all of us will be proud of.
Environmental security is the highest form of national security.
