My Saturday wouldn’t have been that superb if it wasn’t for my extraordinary experience in Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort with the Cebu Bloggers Society! :cheer: At first, I thought I wouldn’t be able to join this activity since it was originally scheduled on July 25 and it was my mom’s birthday, which I couldn’t miss. :worried: I also had an important meeting that day so I had no hope. But I was filled with excitement when the tour was postponed! The Lord really loves me! Weeeee! :D

I know everybody was up early because we weren’t late for our rendezvous — 6am at SM City Cebu. Oh hail the exhilaration! XD As soon as everyone and everything was in place, off we went on the 3 vans. We knew it was going to be a long journey. :car: Some time later, we stopped over at Jollibee, Carcar to have some breakfast, care of Kuya Ruben (he prefers to be called “kuya” than “sir”). :meal: You could always expect a lot of chitchats when the CBS people are together! :oo: After the meal, we continued on our journey. I wasn’t totally aware of what was happening in our van afterwards since I already fell asleep (but I was still conscious of my surroundings that time). All I knew was that my friends (Aimee, Jessa, Shalee, AJ, and Mark) continued their funny talks. I woke up when I realized my head was banging on the window of the van already! Hahaha. :sweatdrop: I enjoyed the view of the places away from the city. :hearty: Finally, after about 3 hours, we reached our destination. We proceeded to the island on a pump boat. It was an adventurous ride since the waves were alive! :splash: We had a wet look when we reached the island after 15 minutes. We were warmly welcomed by the staff of Sumilon Bluewater, especially the resident manager, Mr. Greg Perral. He oriented us with some facts about Sumilon while we had our snack of fries and sandwiches at the pavilion/restaurant. :meal:

Then we had an ocular appreciation of the place afterwards, just like what we did in Maribago Bluewater. :flower2: Indeed, it is a beautiful one! The serenity of the place would make you want to stay for good. :P

D’ Hacienderas: Aimee, Jessa, Shalee, and me. :hearts:

The Industrial Engineers and Engi-nears! Clockwise from top: Shalee, Aimee, Jessa, Prince, Tianexx, and me.

The Cebu Bloggers Society.

After all the cam whoring sessions :camera: , we went back to the restaurant for our lunch. :meal: And the most exciting part of the day started — leisure time! :kyaa3: Everyone went to try snorkeling and kayaking. I was only able to try the latter.

It was my first time so I considered it an achievement when Shalee and I were back at the shore. Hihihi. :hihihi: Our next target was the Sandbar. Now I know everbody would agree with me that of all the exciting happenings in the island, this one’s the most unforgettable! Why? Because of the sandstorm! Nyahahahahaha! :spiral: The wind was going wild! At first, we were just enjoying the attacks of the waves. :splash: The next thing we knew, we were being attacked by the sands driven by the vigorous wind! And we were running for our lives! Wahahaha! This is one thing we didn’t experience in Maribago Bluewater Cebu. :evil2:

Indeed, the experience was one of a kind! :lovestruck: If only I could stay there until October. Okay, I just don’t want to face my school problems for now. Hahahaha. :sweatdrop2: Anyway, I could pretty much say that though the whole crowd was divided into groups (naturally, you can’t expect 35 bloggers to go together wherever), the Sumilon adventure still strengthened the bond between us! I’m looking forward to more exciting getaways with my CBS family! :kyaa4:

Of course, all of this was made possible by the the Sumilon crew and PinoyWorld! Again, thank you very much, from the bottom of our red hearts!
