The Rat year 2008 is drawing to a close and soon, the Ox year 2009 will be opening. Before that happens, I just wanna reminisce my most memorable moments of 2008! This is my year-ender entry so it’s gonna be quite long. So much to say. It’s your choice whether to read or not.

First Quarter

1. JANUARY.Lyn’s birthday! She gave D’ Hacienderas a bowling treat at the Gaisano Bowlingplex. We were inspired by one of our activities in PE! Hahaha.
2. FEBRUARY. Aimee‘s birthday! We had barkada treats at Jonie’s Flavored Chicken. We didn’t actually have a plan on where to celebrate. It just so happened that we were passing by the area and we felt hungry already. Food was yummy at Jonie’s anyway!
3. MARCH. Shalee’s birthday! Yellow Cab Pizza (cheese) and ice cream! This wasn’t a planned celebration either. We didn’t even know that Shalee would give us a treat! Unfortunately, I was having a toothache that time. I wasn’t able to enjoy the food as much as I want. But I still ate anyway!
4. MARCH. Fine dining for our PE subject! This was at Fisherman’s Net Restaurant. It wasn’t really a fine dining. It was a buffet style. And most of us didn’t apply the fine dining techniques that were taught to us that day! Hahaha.
5. MARCH. Triple treat! Ryan for Pepperoni & Mushroom Pizza and Manhattan Meatlovers Pizza from Yellow Cab (graduation treat), Engilbert for the soft drinks, and Jo for Titanic Treat at Bigby’s Cafe and Restaurant (consequence as the winner [or loser] of our bobo moments activity)!
6. MARCH. First summer getaway with my family and her colleagues! We had fun with the salty waters of Aligarbes Beach.

Second Quarter

1. APRIL. Tales of Jupiter! Actually, I started blogging on March, 2008 but I had an achievement on April — I was able to make my first layout for TOJ (not the one shown on the pic)! This was also the time wherein I discovered a lot of cute blogs! And a lot of them inspired me to make my own WordPress blog!
2. MAY. Tensaii! It’s my fourth link from TOJ to thechronicles.skurange.org to munchkinswamp.co.cc (the latter two don’t exist anymore). Sorry naman! It’s currently my thoughts blog. You know, a blog for my crazy thoughts. I haven’t updated it that much now since I’ve been hell busy, I don’t have time to organize my thoughts. Maybe next year?
3. JUNE. Second summer getaway with my high school friends! This was at Vanyo Beach.

Third Quarter

1. JULY. Chimoi’s birthday! For the 3rd time this year, we had pizza at Yellow Cab! Pepperoni & Mushroom!
2. JULY. Animik! My first ever domain! Thanks to ximmy.com, I had my very first money in PayPal, and I was able to grant one of the items in my wish list! Currently, it’s my random blog, which I also haven’t updated for quite a while now because of my being a busy student. Harzzz.
3. JULY. Bulletin board-making – a task for our batch! The IE Council (which I am part of as the Vice President) assigned our batch to design the bulletin board for our department. After so many suggestions, we finally chose to make the castle design!
4. JULY. Jo’s birthday! Yellow Cab again, for the 4th time this year! New York’s Finest Pizza!
5. AUGUST. Suyin’s birthday! Her actual birthday is July 31 but since it was a class day, we celebrated it 2 days later. Magic-flavored Pizza from JCA! Maiba naman.
6. AUGUST. IE Acquaintance Party! This was at Pacific Cebu Resort International. There were some problems with the assignment of the officers for the entrance stuff so since I was a too-good officer that time, I took the task. And my kind friends helped me with it. It was really enjoyable, especially the batch presentations! The best so far!
7. AUGUST. Simala! Finally, I was able to set foot in that holy place for the first time!
8. AUGUST. USC Intramurals! Our most-awaited event was the Pop-Jazz competition! For 3 years in a row, the Engineering Pop-Jazz Team, a.k.a Kinesyx, was the champion! Wuhoo! I love their ninja theme this year. But I still find the pirates theme (2006) better! Their 300 (movie) theme last year was also good.
9. SEPTEMBER. PentaDiary! It’s a cute diary software! I’m using it everyday since the day I downloaded it. If you want to use it, too, I have it here.

Fourth Quarter

1. OCTOBER. iFancy.Me! The domain that I’ve been eyeing on for so long! I finally have it! It’s currently my main blog where I update regularly. And I’m loving it so much!
2. NOVEMBER. Samsung Soul (SGH-U900)! I bought it with my own money (PayPal) for my birthday! A great achievement! I’m loving The Soul, too!
3. NOVEMBER. My birthday celebration! We had an overnight party at Blue Reef! It’s actually a group effort. And it’s two of my best days of 2008! Food, videoke, insanity. Nothing beats!
4. DECEMBER. Jeff’s birthday! Yellow Cab for the 5th and last time this year! Pepperoni & Mushroom Pizza!
5. DECEMBER. D’ Hacienderas’ Christmas celebration! Another group effort! Same people from my birthday celebration. This was at Chika-an sa Cebu.
6. DECEMBER. Bohol! As I said, it was my first time outside Cebu! It was fun fun fun! Two of my most exciting days of 2008!

This year couldn’t have been more exciting without my beloved barkada, D’ Hacienderas! Es-es, Aimee, Shalee, Leslie, Jo, Suyin, Lyn, Cherry, Maidee! You know I love you, guys! And the boys — Jeff, Eugene, Careby, Cristopher, Josef, Clint. You rock!

And of course, how can I forget my girlfriends online? April, Yna, Eri, Chie! Ate Karen, Yesha-san, Claire, Ayiene, Gel, Ariane, Jhoana, Sheryl, Lissie, Jojo… Ang dami pa talaga! I could go on forever! Basta you all know who you are. You’ve been the best people whom I’ve gotten to mingle with online! Stay the same, sisters!
