2008 – The Year That Was

The Rat year 2008 is drawing to a close and soon, the Ox year 2009 will be opening. :happy3: Before that happens, I just wanna reminisce my most memorable moments of 2008! :cute: This is my year-ender entry so it’s gonna be quite long. So much to say. It’s your choice whether to read or not. :D

First Quarter

  1. JANUARY.Lyn’s birthday! She gave D’ Hacienderas a bowling treat at the Gaisano Bowlingplex. We were inspired by one of our activities in PE! Hahaha. :bowling:
  2. FEBRUARY. Aimee‘s birthday! We had barkada treats at Jonie’s Flavored Chicken. :meal: We didn’t actually have a plan on where to celebrate. It just so happened that we were passing by the area and we felt hungry already. Food was yummy at Jonie’s anyway! :eat:
  3. MARCH. Shalee’s birthday! Yellow Cab Pizza (cheese) and ice cream! :pizza: :icecream: This wasn’t a planned celebration either. We didn’t even know that Shalee would give us a treat! :sweatdrop2: Unfortunately, I was having a toothache that time. I wasn’t able to enjoy the food as much as I want. But I still ate anyway! =D
  4. MARCH. Fine dining for our PE subject! This was at Fisherman’s Net Restaurant. :meal: It wasn’t really a fine dining. It was a buffet style. And most of us didn’t apply the fine dining techniques that were taught to us that day! Hahaha. :evil2:
  5. MARCH. Triple treat! Ryan for Pepperoni & Mushroom Pizza and Manhattan Meatlovers Pizza from Yellow Cab (graduation treat), Engilbert for the soft drinks, and Jo for Titanic Treat at Bigby’s Cafe and Restaurant (consequence as the winner [or loser] of our bobo moments activity)! :oo:
  6. MARCH. First summer getaway with my family and her colleagues! We had fun with the salty waters of Aligarbes Beach. :splash:

Bohol, Baby!

My Friday and Saturday this week were simply amazing! :yay: I have mentioned in my previous post that I’d be going to Bohol with my family and some relatives. My sister was not with us ‘coz she has hospital duties in Bogo. My aunt stayed home ‘coz there’s no one to guard the house or something. Baka may mangyari eh. Both of them have gone to Bohol already naman. :yes2: Anyway, the plan was that we will go back to Cebu on Sunday but since we were able to visit most of the tourist attractions already, we’re now back. :D FYI, it’s my first time outside Cebu! That’s why I really documented my experience. :notepad: But you probably won’t be that interested anyway if I rant about it all day. So I’ll just do an ordered list… with pics! Hihihi. :cute:

A Merry Christmas

First of all, I want to greet you all a very merry Christmas! :xmastree: :xmaswreath: I know it’s kinda late but it doesn’t matter, does it? Everyday is :xmas: . Hehehe. Was yours merry? Though mine was not that bongga, it was fun! We did not have noche buena. It’s better to have it with many people, like relatives, but since it was only the five of us (me, ma, sis, bro, and aunt), we didn’t prepare na lang. Reserved for New Year’s Day. Hihihi.

My mom’s business phone (Nokia E66) came yesterday. :fone: She let me do the changing of options and stuff. Dumugo yung ilong ko sa features. It’s kinda complicated. :nosebleed: Since it’s a Smart Plan, I took advantage of the GPRS. I visited my site. Hahaha. :happy2:

Everybody went to sleep after the fireworks, except me. :sparkle: Aw my bro went to some place pala. ;p I had some “bonding moments” with my Samsung Soul (bwahahaha! XD ) so I ended up sleeping at 6am. :sweatdrop: Then my mom woke us up at 9am. Wow. Three hours of sleep. :ughh: After attending mass, my mom, sis, and I went to SM. :cheer: My bro had LBM and my aunt was doing the laundry so they weren’t able to go with us. Too bad. It would have been better if we were all together. :ngek:

My mom. Feeling Japanese/Korean?
