Japanese Wannabe

Written on October 27, 2008 by Mikyu.

Yes I am! :P It’s not that I’m not proud to be a Filipino. It’s just that I’m so in love with everything Japanese! :lovestruck: :japan: Just so you know, I’ve started loving Japan ever since I was an elementary student. My sis, bro, and I were so fond of watching Anime. And I started learning Japanese at that time, too. :3 Until now, I’m still grasping every knowledge I can get regarding the language since I really want to be good at it. I haven’t taken professional lessons yet (maybe soon) but I do a lot of self-study. In fairness, I’ve learned a lot from my effort. :heartspark2:

Anyway, here’s a short list of what I’ve been up to lately:

:pinkstar: Hana Kimi Special :pinkstar:
I’m done watching it! It’s really marvelous, mind you! It hasn’t lost its oh-so-hilarious aspect! And of course, my lovely Ikuta Toma is cooler than ever! :kyaa3: To those who haven’t watched it yet, don’t open the spoiler! XD

Funny Scenes ▼

Here are some of the scenes where I effin’ laughed so hard! :happy2:

  • Komari getting bitter over Nakatsu!
  • Nanba getting punched by Julia (and flying all the way up)!
  • Oscar/Masao (to Julia): “Hey! Uhm, uhh… Hey!”
  • Nakatsu crawling all the way to the corner, blah blah blah, and reciting the “spell” in a very slang way!
  • Nanba fainting!
  • Nakao accidentally knocking Nakatsu off with the wooden slab he was carrying!
  • Nakao kissing Nanba while he was unconscious!
  • Nakatsu getting knocked out by Nakao after attempting to kiss Mizuki, getting conscious just to say “homo janai”, and getting unconscious again!
  • Kagurazaka’s kiss-wild scene!
  • Sano singing “love me tender, love me sweet” while talking to himself!
  • Old people playing soccer on the field!
  • Oscar/Masao crying stupidly during graduation!
  • The dummy Mizuki with the pasted pic!

And yes, there’s still a lot.

:pinkstar: Kaomoji :pinkstar:
It’s the Japanese facemarks. I’ve been looking for animated Kaomoji to add to my collection of smilies. While I was browsing some sites, I found this particular one where there is a downloadable Kaomoji dictionary. I installed it to our system and I didn’t know what its use is until I experimented. I realized the Kaomoji appears when I type certain words in Japanese. Example, when I type きゃあ, a pop-up of choices would appear. One is (>▽<)きゃー♪! Isn’t that cool? Hahaha! I’m addicted to it already! Maybe I’ll make a tutorial about it someday. ;)

:pinkstar: Nihongo :pinkstar:
I already know basic Japanese but I want to learn more! I want to understand the syntax thoroughly. I also want to learn some more words. That’s why from time to time, I check out some Japanese resource sites. :D I know how to write and read Hiragana, I’ve yet to master all Katakana, and I suck at Kanji. Hahaha. It’s not that I don’t want to learn it. It just looks complicated, that’s why I get discouraged sometimes. Hihihi. :ahe: Well, wish me luck in my Japanese escapade anyway!

So, what have you been up to lately? :)

Wala namang masama kung you want to learn another language. Parang English lang din naman yan e. Hehe.

Nung younger days ko pa, gusto ko ding matutunan Japanese. Pero nag-give up ako kasi nahihirapan na ko. HAHA! Sabi ko whenever I need it na lang. ;)

Hindi ako nanunuod ng Hana Kimi kaya wala ako comment about dun. haha. Pasensya naman. ^_^

Dapat sa next post mo (dapat talaga e, no? haha) included na ung tutorial about sa Kaomoji ha. Hehe. :)) Kidding aside. Haha!

    Good luck studying Japanese! You should consider enrolling at a Japanese school… teka meron na ba nun sa pinas? haha. Korean Schools kasi meron, baka may Japanese na din. ^^;;
